How to change resolution in Windows XP
1. Right-click an empty space on your desktop.
2. Click Properties in the context menu.
3. In the Display Properties box click the Settings tab.
4. Move the Screen Resolution slider to 1024 by 768 pixels.
5. Click Apply and OK.
How to change resolution in Windows Vista
1. Open the Control Panel, then click Personalization, and then click Display Settings.
2. Under Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
